Holistic Health Coaching, Grounded in Real Life
My work bridges human biology, lifestyle, holistic health, and culture—connecting science with how people actually live, cook, work, and care for themselves.
Many of the people I work with live with ongoing, layered health challenges.
Symptoms that don’t exist in isolation.
Patterns that don’t fit neatly into a single diagnosis.
Often, these concerns are metabolic in nature—energy regulation, blood sugar balance, inflammation—but most clients don’t come in using that language. They come in tired. Frustrated. Wanting change that doesn’t require abandoning the life they’ve built—just reworking some long-standing habits.
This is where holistic health coaching can be most useful.
Personalized lifestyle coaching can help you:
- make sense of how symptoms, habits, stress, food, and sleep are connected
- shape sustainable lifestyle changes that reflect how you actually live
- build steadier energy, improved resilience, and a calmer relationship with your body
- develop approaches to eating and health that don’t rely on rigid protocols, constant restraint, or ongoing tracking
The focus isn’t optimization. It’s lifestyle change built around your actual circumstances.
My approach tends to resonate with people who are:
- open to an approach focused on lifestyle patterns and environment to drive real health change
- looking for change that can unfold without overhauling their life
Working with me is not a good fit if you’re looking for biohacking, tough love, quick fixes, or rigid systems built around protocols, tracking, or performance metrics.
Areas we may explore together
Holistic health coaching looks at how lifestyle patterns interact over time. Depending on your priorities, we may focus on:
- circadian rhythms and light exposure
- metabolic health and energy regulation
- stress physiology and nervous system regulation
- sleep, rest, and recovery
- food choices and cooking, based on your background, preferences, and constraints
- movement that supports function
What we focus on and the pace of change depends on you.
Eating with health and pleasure in mind
Food is essential to health—and also to pleasure.
With over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, I help clients develop approaches to eating that are practical and satisfying.
This isn’t about eating healthy 100% of the time. It’s about eating well, consistently, over time.
In their own words
"Working with Cynthia was exactly what I needed for my motivation, knowledge and overall health. Her dynamic enthusiasm for nutritional knowledge enabled me to become healthier every day."
— Brian Barron
"When I found out I was diabetic, I immediately set up an in-person meeting with Cynthia. She patiently listened to my lifestyle and eating habits, then gave me thoughtful advice. Cynthia motivated me to change my way of eating and to see things differently. She explained that this is not just a diet—it’s a lifestyle that I can actually enjoy instead of feeling forced.
What I truly appreciate is that Cynthia doesn’t just advise; she lives by what she teaches. She is a proven example of her own guidance. Most importantly, she gave me practical advice tailored to my eating culture, making it easy to apply in my daily life. I am so grateful that I had the chance to meet with her."
— Charlotte Chan
"Attending Cynthia’s workshop was an incredibly supportive way to practice mindfulness as a group in a unique way…
Cynthia has a strong yet gentle facilitation style, encouraging growth in all of us while also making sure that the exercises were accessible to all of us at different levels of movement."
— Melanie Paez, Los Angeles, CA
